About me
Part time illustrator and artist
My name is Lise-Marie. I'm from a place called Bryne and I work as a teacher in primary school. I'm a self-taught illustrator and artist, and mainly use Photoshop, Procreate and watercolor. I create portraits and illustrations on commission. There's a contact form down below if you're interested in commissioning me.
My illustrations
I've always liked to draw, and it’s a hobby that has followed me all my life. I mainly draw portraits of characters, people and animals. Comics, Disney, games and anime have influenced my drawing style from an early age. I like to draw stylized, slightly cartoonish and semi-realistic. Many of my illustrations are also inspired by the fantasy genre.
Digital commissions
I take commissions in creating portraits and illustrations of people, characters and animals. I create portraits and illustrations in Photoshop/Procreate. The finished product will be a digital file (png and pdf) that you can print in high resolution (A3 format, 300 DPI) and use wherever you want for personal use. I only take a few commissions at a time, and have a waitlist option if I'm fully booked. Prices vary based on complexity.
Suggested pricelist:
Portrait of a face (person/animal/character) NOK 400/~40USD.
Portrait from the waist up NOK 600/~60USD.
Full body NOK 800/~80USD.
For each additional person/animal/character +100/~10USD
Complex background (forest, city, flowers, etc.) + NOK 200/~20USD extra.
(Simple background has no extra charge)
Lots of details on armour/items/clothing/design etc. +100-500/~10USD-50USD
The example image of an elf with 3 foxes and a background costs NOK 1,300/~130USD. Full body (80) + 3 extra animals (30) + complex background (20).
Note!
I don't draw this: Nudity, NSFW, gore, robot/mecha.
I also have the right to refuse a commission if it's not suitable.
Prices are for personal use only. If the illustrations are to be used commercially, this must be specified, and we can discuss this further by email. Own rules/prices may apply.
Payment methods are Vipps, Paypal or invoice for companies.
The process
The process from when I get a commission request goes like this:
First, we agree on what the commission entails and the price. The prices above are indicative and I calculate the price based on complexity and how long it will take me to complete it.
After the price has been determined, I'll send you a sketch. Now is the time for you to say what you think, if you want big changes. When the sketch has been approved, I would like to receive half the payment before I start to complete the illustration.
Completing the illustration takes anywhere from 1-4 weeks, depending on how busy life is. You will be sent the finished image in high quality. It will be possible to make small changes to the finished illustration (1 hour's work). If you want major changes, there will be an additional cost.
